We do actually have bears and moose that are not out to get you, but demand respect. Be bear aware, meaning pay attention to bear scat, if you see some, make noise, act big and don't run. If you see moose, wait for them to move along. Do not approach them. Mama's with baby's are especially dangerous so keep your distance.

Bring a wide range of clothing
While temps don't swing much in a single day, temps can feel very different here. The way that the sun hits low on the horizon all summer it can feel much warmer than you would assume. Similarly, a cool rain can really create a chill even on a semi warm day. Dress in layers!
