Paddling
Crown land park that is fun to hike, fish, paddle and swim.
This is a peace of crown land, well known to locals and very often busy with visitors. It is located just next to highway 400, half an hour north of Berry ON, has a parking lot for about 20 cars. Water to put a kayak is about 100m from the parking. To access main lake you would need to portage it next to long rappid for about 200m up and down a bit steep path. You can hike from the parking lot to a rappind (15min) or to a lookout that is 30m high cliff and 45min hike away.

McCrae Lake
This is a peace of crown land, well known to locals and very often busy with visitors. It is located just next to highway 400, half an hour north of Berry ON, has a parking lot for about 20 cars. Directions: When getting on the Brackering road from Scout Trail rd, turn left, about 300m down the road turn left again on Pickerel ln. There is parking and a public dock you can put paddleboards or kayaks in the water. Paddling out you will see a nice rock island you can swim off.
