Nice place to go swimming, 5 km from our house. You can even bike there. There is a a nature area where you can take walks along the water and there are several prepared places to barbecue and there is firewood. There is also a restaurant and a café right next to the water.

Another lake only about 6 km from our house. There are two main places to go swimming around the lake Kvarnsjön. One at the entrance to the village, where you swim from big rocks. The other one, where you have to pass the whole village first has docks and it has sands and it is shallow water which makes it suitable for kids.

Another nice place to go swimming about 5km from our house but in another direction,, on the other side of Huddingevägen. There is a nice 6 km walk around this lake and there is a small beach and also rocks where you can swim from. There is a big dock where young people often gather. There are lots of blueberries in this forest if you are interested to pick!

Another nice place to go swimming about 5km from our house but in another direction,, on the other side of Huddingevägen. There is a nice 6 km walk around this lake and there is a small beach and also rocks where you can swim from. There is a big dock where young people often gather. There are lots of blueberries in this forest if you are interested to pick!

Huddinge is a suburb to Stockholm with lots of nature sanctuarys and lakes. Our small centre Huddinge centre, is nice compared to many others. You can walk there in 15 min from our house and that is where the commuter trains leave from. Huddinge centre is usually open until 4 PM in the weekend and to 6 PM week nights, but you can check here: https://www.huddingecentrum.se/
