The Disk Golf course runs up and down the Mt. McSauba Ski Hill and through the woods and past the skating rink for a challenging game. It's natural setting takes advantage of the terrain and many different obstacles to make play interesting.

Neighborhoods
North Point is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Mt McSauba Recreation Area is located in the North Point area as does the Charlevoix Twp Nature Preserve and the Suncoast Birding Trail. There are marked hiking trails, rolling sand dunes with a vast beach, and the start of the Whirlway paved bike path to Petoskey. Lots to do without ever going to town!

My absolute favorite place to go! They have fresh whitefish from John Cross Fisheries right here in town (broiled) with lemon caper sauce that I get every time! Their scones are fantastic too. Plus, the decor and eating in a decorated old house is so quaint. It is fancy without having to really dress up. My husband loves the Hanger Steak. The service is always top notch!

The food is wonderful! Great salads, burgers and nachos... and you MUST try the sweet potato fries!! There are three floors with three menus. If you go to the third floor, you are in for a treat... I painted the six tables that are up there with iconic scenes of Charlevoix!! Even if you are eating on the lower floors, ask to see the tables on the top floor. It is only open for dining when weather permits. Sometimes they have a live band up there on warm nights! How fun!!

If you go to the third floor, you are in for a treat... I painted the six tables that are up there with iconic scenes of Charlevoix!! Even if you are eating on the lower floors, ask to see the tables on the top floor. It is only open for dining when weather permits. Sometimes they have a live band up there on warm nights! How fun!!

There is a nice outside eating area too and it is right downtown. In the fall and winter months Terry makes an unbelievable pot pie on Thursdays. You can hear it all down the street: "Pot Pie Thursday at the Villager!!"

For the best homemade soup and sandwich ever, come to Scovies! The burgers are also fantastic. MY savories is the Northern MI Chicken Salad with Cherries. It is so very wonderful!! And you cannot leave without desert! Seriously... even if you are full... take it to go! Vi makes the best carrot cake, brownies, cookies. She is a true baker... she takes the cake when it comes to baking!!!!

Oh and the cherry salsa and maybe the cherry trail mix... is that too many to call "favorite"? But you get it... they have so many products, how can you pic one as a favorite or even 10? You have to stop in when in town! Promise?

Jams, preserves, trail mix, pies, cakes, cookies, donuts galore!! Pizza and sandwiches are even available in the cafe. Shirts, souvenirs, candies, and goodies are presented in a very hometown, country display making everyone welcome.
