During the summer this is a lovely place to go for drinks. Big outdoor beergarden with a nice view. The lunch buffet served here is also nice.

If you're up for a walk, visit the place where Alfred Nobel (the founder of the Nobel prize) used to test his dynamite. Some of the blast holes are still intact. Lovely nature and coffee-places.

Sightseeing
The old town is very touristy but we recommend it for its very old houses and narrow alleys. Stora Nygatan is all swedish souvenirs. There is also the Nobel Museum and the royal castle.

If you're in to science the Nobel Museum might be worth a visit. Nice exhibitions. If you go, look under the chairs in the caffeteria. Many of them are signed with autographs from the nobel laureates.
