Sightseeing

The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, referred to as the New Cathedral, is located in Managua. Constructed between 1991 an 1993. The design is a combination of eclectic, Arabic and Romanesque styles, reminiscent of an Islamic mosque. It was designed and built by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta.
