You can swim near by but not exactly under the hil because its archaeological site.http://ktelattikis.gr/en/en_markopoulo_lavrio this is the site for the public busses, the station is 10-12 min from Solonos., at Mavromataion str. Attention take the bus which is going by the sea, to contemplate the Athenian riviera it worths. ! It takes 1h and half approxim. (it depends on traffic).
