Large, unmapped, unique landscape of hoodoos and desert. Large pieces of limestone being held up by eroding limestone bases. Entrances are poorly marked, and oil & gas roads intersect this area. Take plenty of water and snacks.

There is reservation camping and a hotel at the entrance of Monument Valley. Highly recommended to take the dirt road drive around the monoliths. Native American artisans selling their wares in the park, horseback rides available.
