This is an excellent restaurant located at the harbour; it is the most expensive in Kalk Bay, but worth it. Fabulous view of the sea, and good service. Wine is quite pricey so maybe take your own and pay corkage. Make a reservation and specify that you’d like a table closest to the sea.

This is an iconic trendy restaurant in Kalk Bay. You need to arrive before 6 or after 8 in order to get a table for dinner. If it’s full, write your name on the white board to your left as you go in the door. Good for breakfast & lunch too. Very laid back type of place. Excellent mussels! They have a bakery behind the bottle store as well.

This Cafe is set in the countryside, on the way to the Cape of Good Hope. Great organic meals, local produce used; free WiFi. Outstanding coffee. Vegan friendly.

Review: The quality of ingredients shone through straight away, from breads to salads, seafood and fish. “Fresh fish” meant fresh fish. The menu was refreshingly short, although providing ample choice, including some specials of the day. We came back a second time and only wished we’d been on all five nights. I’ve no doubt the meat dishes, pasta and pizzas are great too. Until the next time.... keep up the good work!
