Sparsely visited by canoers and kayakers in the summer. The spot where Northeast Creek crosses under the Rt 3 and enters Thomas Bay is a great spot to do some photo shooting. You'd pass by this spot on your way. To get there, just follow Rt 3 toward Ellsworth and walk about 15 min. Be careful of the traffic while you enjoy the view.
