Likavittos hill - 5' walk from home- 277 metres /910 ft tall,covered with pine trees, offers a romantic panoramic view of the city.
It is tempting to walk up the hill or if you prefer to ascend with the funicular railway ("teleferik" costs 7euro) :{ at the end of Ploutarchou street is Aristippou road } or with a cable car {Teleferik Cable Car Station} .
You may also take BUS 060 and get off at the 4th Lycabettous stop.
At the top of the hill you enjoy :
- Amphitheatre where many concerts take place
- St. George Chapel
- ORIZONTES Restaurant
-Cafe Lycabettus
or living like a local : get your coffe with you, admire the view and stroll around the hill !! day or night !!
