Closest spot (3 blocks - 7 min walk) that has decent food, pizza, beer/wine and cocktails. I walk to 15th to go to the Hophouse over this particular spot generally.

The best biscuits and gravy in town. We like the mushroom gravy. This location is more of a to-go spot versus the sit down restaurants but you don't need to deal with the 45 min waits!

Best food for a brewery in Portland. And strangely enough, there beer is the best in Portland as well. As you can imagine it gets crowded. They have a downtown location as well, where the food is not as good.

Great little town in the Gorge with some of the best breweries in the nation. Spots to stop an hike on the way! Small river beach on the waterfront, weather permitting. It can get windy in the summer and is very popular for kite-surfing.

This isn't quite an amusement park, but a great place to go with kids. They have a small toddler room, but even at 4 years old, we aren't thrilled with the number of older kids running around here. Perhaps perfect for 5-12 year old children.

This is a place that is fun for everyone. Their exhibits can be phenomenal and the rotating ones are very much geared towards adults. Plenty of places to play for kids as well. We have a membership and go frequently.
