The mineral springs is part of the rich history that makes up the Washington Heritage Trail. Visitors can dip their toes in the springs, or splash about, and many bottle drinkable water right from its source.

For a really beautiful view on your way to the cabin, consider a visit to the Old Power House Dam. This vista is situated between Berkeley Springs and Great Cacapon and is known only to locals. Approximately 6.6 miles from Berkeley Springs: from Rockford Rd. take Power House Rd. to the left and follow it over the “low water bridge.” Then, continue up the hill to a pull-over on the right. You can walk out on the rock face and see the old power house dam pictured in our photos. Very picturesque! (NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG CHILDREN).
