It's a hole in the wall Japanese restaurant. You'll typically see a line in front and wonder why. My favourite is the chirashi bowl. The seafood is quite fresh and the price is reasonable.

This is my favourite biscuit place. It gives a local neighbourhood feel serving excellent biscuit sandwiches, biscuit and gravy, unique tea selection and excellent coffee. The family always feels satisfied with their selection from a very modest menu.

We like everything on the menu. The dinner menu is small but very well selected to serve different palates. It's in walking distance when the weather permits.

This place creates a unique Korean-inspired twist to the known dishes, like beef tartare with pine nuts and Asian pear in it. The ambience is urban casual with a nice outdoor fireplace.

Parks & Nature
Fremont troll is a public sculpture of a troll under the bridge. It was an art project that became a landmark for many visitors to Fremont neighborhood. The best part is that it's a 5 min. walk from the house. Kids love it.
It's an easy walk to the park and stroll along the water. Just a nice break from all the city bustling while enjoying the view.

This is such a nice lake with paved walkway all around the lake. Family can take a walk or rollerblading around it. On the East side of the lake is Tangletown where you will find local brewery, coffee shops, wine bars and local restaurants.
