Open for dinner Friday and Saturday nights year-round and lunch on Saturdays. The dining room is more formal...for casual dinners, we recommend getting a table in the bar. The owners - Gary and Jesse - are wonderful hosts. Reservations are encouraged for dinner and can be made online at the Guesthouse website. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Guesthouse pool is open to non-guests for a small fee.

Big Schloss Spur TrailThis is our favorite hike in the area. 4.3 mile out and back trail along the West Virginia/Virginia state line. The ascent is somewhat difficult, but easy once you get to the ridge line. Pair this hike with Tibbet Knob (same trailhead) for an 8 mile hike.
Highest point in West Virginia. You can drive to the summit and reach the lookout in a short walk (~1000 ft).
