The famous Milford sound is a must do when you visit Queenstown. You can self-drive, bus or combo it with bus and flight. It is a long day - 7am-7pm on the bus - slightly quicker self-drive or flight options.

Parks & Nature
Family friendly trail with a nice beach and lovely views. Takes about 1-1.5 hours to walk around. Great place to have a picnic. The lake is warmer than Lake Wakatipu so can swim in it during summer.

If you are fit and want a challenge then the Ben Lomond Track is for you. Either walk from the bottom of Lomond Crescent or catch the Gondola to the start of the track. Steep but worth the views at the top. Unless you are an experienced hiker would only recommend doing this trail in summer.
