I am not sure- tradition? This is where old time locals queue up for bread and desserts on holidays. I have been known to sneak in there for an apricot danish, or a chocolate chip cookie.

This place is trouble. Cookies and Ice Cream! They make huge ice cream sandwiches with an array of fresh baked cookies and ice cream. I always get a deconstructed one and it lasts 3 days. They are a block and a half from the house and I wish they were further away for my waist size.

It was in Next Stop Wonderland. It is a real Irish bar with proper live Irish music, including some major acts from Ireland in the back room. There is proper Guinness and Smithwicks on tap. Louis CK dropped in there last week and did a surprise set in the back room. The musicians groups that play in the bar in the front room are mesmerizing. The Burren is an honest experience.
