Tanashi St. is Just about 20 minutes from Shinjuku area. Most of people in Tokyo live west or east area away from center of Tokyo.Our city Tanashi is located in western area in Tokyo. You can access Kabukicho directly at Seibu Shinjuku St. Change at Takatanobaba St. ,you can get on JR Yamanote Line. This line is circle railroad. So yo you can access everywhere famous cities like Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya,Ikebukuro,Akihabara etc! It takes about 1 hour to round. ( If you like to go around:)

From Shinjuku Kabukicho area, direct access 20 minutes by train to nearest station (SEIBU-SHINJUKU Line TANASHI St.) In front of TANASHI station, There are Shopping center buildings. You can get all variety stuff like groceries and beverages WITH CHEAPER PRICE when you compare the center of Tokyo. There are many kind of reasonable restaurants here! That's why I recommend to stay NishiTokyo city. I was born and raised here! Kenji

Ghibli Museum is a complete reservation system with a specified date and time. Many guests don’t know this unfriendly rule. So please make sure. Release date Tickets for the following month will go on sale from 10:00 on the 10th of every month. example: 6/10 (Fri) 10:00...On sale for admission in July 7/10 (Sun) 10:00...On sale for August admission. *Tickets can be purchased even on the day of the event if there are remaining ticket reservations.
