Jacques-Imo's is truly one of a kind. The food is fantastic and really unique. They don't take reservations for small parties so show up early and wait next door at the Maple Leaf.
Start your meal with the delicious Alligator Cheesecake - trust me. You can't get it anywhere else, and it's awesome. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu - the fantastic duck, any seafood, or the carpetbagger steak are all favorites.
This place has charm, character, and is the definition of New Orleans.

My go to recommendation for French Quarter dining. Once a local secret, Coop's Place is significantly less touristy than the rest of the places in the Quarter. Get the Chicken Tchopitoulas!
