Things "To Do" around Big Bear Lake
Here is a list of things that we love to do at Big Bear.
Snow Summit is about a mile from our cabin. You can see it's slopes from the top deck of our cabin. The ski shuttle is a 6 minute walk from our cabin. The shuttle stops at Bear Mountain and then goes to Snow Summit.

Castle Rock Trail is a wonderful location to hike. Parking is not so great, but worth it! A short hike that most can handle.

Vons is close to our cabin and sells all types of groceries. They also sell firewood. There is also a Ralphs Grocery store on the opposite side of the street.

They have a nice breakfast. Get there early as lines form quickly one the weekends. The Teddy Bear Restaurant is a "cash only" place. They do have an ATM in the lobby.
