See traditional Maori waka, tools and models of fortified villages, as well as skeletons of the giant Moa, a volcano simulation, and early settler history and artefacts. New Zealand is a unique country with a history worth knowing.

It's right in the heart of the Domain, a huge public park in the center of Auckland, just 30 minutes walk from my apartment. Great day out in any weather, especially since it's warm year-round!
