I love this park SO much! It is in walking distance, but you can also take the DASH bus from the house directly there. Ride in the paddle boats, order fabulous food and drinks at the boat house, admire the lotus flowers and multitude of wildlife while experiencing fantastic people watching.

Cookbook is an absolutely lovely grocery store. The owners personally know the farmers and butchers that they source from. Everything is organic so there is no need for labels. Great for produce if you feel like cooking at home but also a good place to pick up delicious pre-made food on your way home or on your way to the lake.
