When traveling, there’s nothing worse than wasting a good meal on bad food. Over the past 20 years, DC has transformed itself into one of the nation’s biggest foodie cities. We’re here to help you navigate the culinary landscape so that your bagels & schemer are just as memorable as the museums and memorials you visit while in the nation’s capital.
The name says it all, right? This Jew-ish deli recently opened in Park View and hasn’t disappointed, as is evident with the long lines. Try the "Bodega" with pastrami and share an order of latkes with your bestie. You can thank me later. ;)

Fast-forward more than a decade later, and it’s a national chain that others want to copy. Don’t worry, though, the original is here and better than ever with outposts around the city. If you’re headed to DC for sightseeing, make sure you get your salad fix by downloading the app to check out all the locations around the city. And if you’re staying with us, there’s a sweetgreen in downtown Silver Spring that is starting to deliver.

Bad Saint can accommodate parties of 4 or fewer, and it's not recommended for babies or small children. After some of the first reviews came out, lines started forming around 3 p.m., and the restaurant was sold out daily. Fast forward years later, and it's still *that* good, but the good news is that limited reservations are now available! Reservations 4 weeks out become available each Wednesday at 11 a.m. And yes, they go quick.

These tickets are FREE, but usually require a $1 administrative fee. During off-peak times, when visitation is lower, visitors can enter the Museum on weekdays without passes.
* Off-Peak Season is September through February during which timed passes are only required on weekends. Walk-up weekday entry begins at 10am Monday through Friday. Passes are available online three months in advance and are issued the first Wednesday of every month.
