Barletto is just across the street from the apartment and offers breakfast, lunch, tea time or “lonchecito,” and dinner with friends and family. Súper recomendable!

Casa Pacha is one of the favorites for local and tourists who want to enjoy a good breakfast or lunch. Their lunch menu for about $4 includes an appetizer, main dish and a drink. They also offer vegetarian menu. I’ve eaten there many times and it is conveniently located within a few steps from the apartment. You might need to wait a bit during lunch hour rush. You can also get takeouts. Enjoy!

One of the best scene for anticuchos and picarones in the bohemian district of Barranco with an excellent view of iconic Puente de los Suspiros. Don’t miss it!

Sightseeing
Most iconic places in Miraflores you should visit during your stay.
Newly discovered pyramids and ruins within the city, although it has existed before the Inca empire. You must reserve your visit ahead of time (sorry, I can’t leave a link as Airbnb does not allow it). The tickets are about $4-5 to visit the ruins. It is within 5 or 6 blocks from the apartment. Or you can take a taxi for $3. Wear comfortable shoes as you will do a lot of walking, and bring a hat if you are visiting during the summer.
They also have a 5***** restaurant on site but be prepared to spend $$. My son had a dish prepared with alpaca that was delicious They also offer seafood, Andean food and all our gastronomy has to offer, while you enjoy the view of the ruins and an ocasional alpaca or Andean hairless dog roaming nearby in the ruins. Great experience!

Excellent views of the beaches, coastal highway. Bring a picnic and stay to watch the beautiful sunset. Lots of park areas, do a little jogging, ride your bike, eat at iconic little food shops.

My sister did right after her wedding. You ought to go before you leave Miraflores. It’s surrounded by lots of green area and flowers. ❤️

They offer sightseeing of downtown Lima and the presidential palace as well as a trip to the Port of el Callao, Parque de la Reserva to watch the water lights show in the evening and many more short trips. I have used them a lot to sightseeing areas in Lima.

Supermarket, where you will find everything for your cooking needs, or for traveling. It is only a few blocks from the apartment. There are local yellow taxis parked right outside the market that can bring you back to the place for a few dollars so you don't have to walk with your groceries. Almost anything or everything you may need, you will find it there.

Saga Fallabella is a department store and it is only two blocks from the apartment. If you live in the US, I would compare it to a Macy's or JCPenny. If you need clothes, hats, glasses, etc, you will find it there.

Transportation to/from the airport-Miraflores
A very convenient and affordable way to travel to the airport from Miraflores and viceversa. About $5 one way. Check their information for hours of operations and stops in Miraflores. I use their service when traveling to the apartment.
Airport Express Lima - Stop
Quick Llama is another option to travel to/from the airport to Miraflores. It’s very affordable (about $5). Their schedule is very convenient and they pick you up from your home or hotel. They drop you off inside the airport in Lima. Check them out!
