There's an amazing taqueria tucked into the back of this little tienda (which also has a great carniceria and panaderia, too). It's a great location with really good food. If you're willing to go a little out of the way, though, try Rose City Taqueria instead.

St. Johns is home to several of Portland's largest and most iconic parks. Get out and enjoy them!
Huge, forested park in the middle of the peninsula is most used for its skate park and one of the prettiest disc golf courses in the Northwest. It also includes a nice playground, an outdoor pool (open only in the summer), basketball court, and covered picnic pavilions.
