NEOC houses our local "fine dining restaurant" called the River Drivers. The food is great and the atmosphere is always pleasant and it has one of the best views of Katahdin.

The Scootic In is a local family owned restaurant located in downtown Millinocket. I highly recommend the Blackened Haddock and the Scallops Michelle.

This is another local favorite with hikers and visitors alike. Fun Fact: There is ceiling tile devoted to each year where the hikers finish the AT that year will sign so be sure and look up when you in the cafe. The menu has recently changed to serve Mexican food.

Sightseeing
Gauntlet Falls is located inside Jo-Mary Campground and is a great place to spend the day. You can jump off (12-15 ft high) several points on the falls into a very deep ravine and let the natural movement of the falls gradually push into the shallows.
