The drive up to Silverton is beautiful and once you get there the old mining town will send you into the past. There are lots of good hikes & four wheel trails out of silverton. The avalanche brewery is a must.

The drive too ouray is beautiful and there are lots of adventurous things to do from there. The views from the hot springs are hard to beat. Relax and soak a while.
