Distillery with tours available (we did this with a groupon). Creative, fresh ingredient concoctions, definitely worth a visit if this is your thing. Owner are a super nice young couple, very enthusiastic and love sharing their trade.

There is a general store in downtown Elk Rapids, but to stock up on supplies and for more selection, I suggest the village market. There is also a Meijer's further away for heavy duty shopping!

The ski shop is on the mountain and had a good pic so I am using it. Schuss is less than an hour from our home, easy drive

There are 17 different trails in the area for hiking or biking. They range from 1 mile to 20+ miles. "TrailLink" by Rails-to-Trails Conservatory, has a helpful app so you can find the best one for your energy level or activity goal
