My favorite place in all of Florida! Rent a kayak for an all day adventure from Weeki Wachee Kayak Rentals and float down the river for hours, stopping at little beaches along the way for a swim. Crystal clear spring water, 73 degrees yaear round. You will see manatees and even dolphins. Bring snacks/drinks as you will need the energy! Bug spray and sunscreen too, of course.

Beautiful Florida wilderness! Hike on a rope-suspended bridge high up into the canopy of trees and reach the tall observation tower with panorama views of the entire area. Gorgeous... and very unique place. Myakka River is full of alligators, so enjoy cautiously!

Beautiful architecture located right on the Bay. Even if you do not enjoy Salvador Dali's art, I would highly recommend walking around, gabbing a coffee at the coffee shop and enjoying the museum garden.
