Very family friendly the kids can run around and climb trees and have fun in the expansive grounds. During winter a fire operates in both the dining room and bar areas. On a sunny day there are plenty of tables outside, and it is also well suited to large groups. Definitely stop by!

Down on the foreshore of Boreen Point is a nice place for a walk, a picnic or even a swim. The waters are shallow making it great and safe for kids. You might even see a few sail boats out as it is a popular spot for this.
