Sightseeing
When you stay with us, this is a must do! Batsto is a historic Dutch settlement in The Pine Barrens. Closeby our location. This is a place where you can walk around and see what it was like to live in this historic village. One of the original New Jersey settlements and working mills. Also said to be haunted for thos ghost hunters enthusiasts. There is also a historic cemetery adjacent to the village you are welcome to visit. Dogs are welcome at Batsto Village.

A very neat village of shops that you have to make time for. We often come here and walk around. You must stop in the candy - chocolate shop. The little pet supply shop, there is a wine store from a local vineyard- great wine!

615 E Moss Mill RdA very neat village of shops that you have to make time for. We often come here and walk around. You must stop in the candy - chocolate shop. The little pet supply shop, there is a wine store from a local vineyard- great wine!

This is a good spot if you happen to bring your own canoe or kyak. There is a canoe launch right next to Historic Batsto Village.

There are great parks, shops, stores and restaurants just minutes away in Manahawkin NJ. This is a short drive from the house. If you have the time or just want to explore the area, try the Town of Manahawkin. We do reccomend it.

It's a quiet and relaxing area where you can go for a walk or bike ride anytime. There is a small Beach area at the end of Radio Road in Mystic Island with a view of Atlantic City in the distance.
If you like to go crabbing and fishing, you found your new favorite spot!
