Elite is a legendary restaurant that allows a glimpse of what elite dining was like in the 1930s in Helsinki. Fun fact: this was your hosts grandfather's regular place where he had his own table. As a Helsinki judge he wined and dined here almost every day. The food is very good, Scandinavian Cousine and the wine list as well as cocktails are worth getting here.

We are quite the culinarists and in our travels all around the globe, we tend to find only the best places to eat at. Mamma Rosa in the heart of Töölö is truly a gem. I must say it has not ever once failed to satisfy our appetite for good food and wonderful flavors accompanied with great hospitality. Book in advance almost any time of the day or you might not get in!

Just a 5 minute walk from the apartment, you will easily find this relatively small Cafe with wonderful hidden treats. Eat in (if you manage to find space, on their curbside terrace or take away. The pastiche de nata is the closest you can get to the famous Lisbon sweat, the breads are divine AND our absolute favoriteis the Egg Sandwich. Trust us. You will not know what hit your taste buts! BUT. Only have it with the Ferri's Sausage.

Quality of raw materials tends to be very good but you must know, the chef has great ideas not always executed to the tee. Definitely a higher price range,since portions are small. For 2 diners prepare to spend 120-150e and upward with wine. Worth a visit, great ambience and great staff.

Used mostly by the locals for breakfast,brunch and lunch we recommend to go early as it tends to be almost always full. Great experience and definitely a good idea for breakfast.

Used mostly by the locals for breakfast,brunch and lunch we recommend to go early as it tends to be almost always full. Great experience and definitely a good idea for breakfast.
Wonderful little place just on the other side of the main road to the left of the apartment. Great for a few pints, a glass of wine and especially their specialty pizza. It's not really a baked toast with fillings, and not really a pizza but it's something super delicious. Very small terrace but large sitting area inside.
