This is a tiny place but so good! Plan on waiting or just grab take out! The best thai food in town. My favorites are the Larb Gai, Tom Kha soup with chicken and of course the Pad Thai! Very spicy! Order zero stars if you do NOT like spice.

Local family restaurant that is always supportive of the kids/families in the community - great ceviche that is my personal favorite I just order it with a side order of beans and chips, yum! I hear they have awesome margaritas!

Beach - hiking
Love the lighthouse point hike and the view of the deception pass bridge. The bay is a great place for kayaking even if you are inexperienced. There is a sandy beach and a rocky beach and plenty of picnic space and trails

Fun 5 minute ferry ride and short two mile round trip hike to an amazing view on Guemes mtn. Even the kids can do it! Nice park on the island and check out the guemes island resort and general store while you are there. The general store has some great food and drinks and a good view and expansive lawn to enjoy

Things are pretty spread out here and we have a bus system but the buses don’t run is often as they do in bigger cities and Uber is not as quickly available here.

Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
