Great local Italian Ice store. In addition to a wide variety of Italian Ice flavors, Annie's also has icecream, gelato, and custard. Annie's is within walking distance from the house, so it makes for the perfect afternoon treat! We grew up going to Annie's, so definitely a local favorite:)

Outdoor Activities
Easy place to rent paddle boards, kayaks, or surf boards. Great prices, and can rent from 1 hour to full day. I recommend booking reservations in-advance, but I have never had an issue booking last minute with small groups. Great for beginners because they set everything up for you in the water. Really nice location, easy to navigate and lots of little islands nearby to explore. Definitely recommend paddle boarding if you’ve never been!

Located a little farther from Jupiter (about a 25/30 minute drive), Peanut Island is a 79 acre island near the Lake Worth Inlet. The island is only accessible by boat, so check the website for boat shuttle times. Typically 12$ a person roundtrip, children 3 and under free. Boat shuttle ride is always a great experience itself- great opportunity to see dolphins and manatees! Can bring bags, coolers, chairs, etc. The island has a beautiful beach, as well as other outdoor attractions including a top-rated snorkel area, observation deck, and boardwalk. Also has extensive walking trails, and is home to the underground bunker of President John F. Kennedy. Another really cool place to visit. Check out the Peanut Island ShuttleBoat website for accurate boat shuttle prices, as well as other attractions on the island.

Lion Country Safari is about a 45 minute drive from Jupiter. If you’re having a rainy day and don’t know what to do, definitely check out Lion Country Safari. The park features a 4-mile drive-through safari where herds of animals roam free. Perfect for rainy days because you can drive your car through the park and experience the animals, sometimes coming right up to your car (the animals also love the rainy days and tend to be more active in the rain!). Some of the iconic animals include giraffes, zebras , emus, and rhinos. Must purchase admission tickets for all guests, and admission typically includes access to the drive-through safari, walk-through park, mechanical rides and water attractions.

Easiest methods of transportation
If you don’t have a personal or rental car, then Uber/Lyft is definitely the easiest way to get around. If you’re interested in traveling to Miami/Fort Lauderdale, look into the Brighline high speed train. They have great deals and can easily get you to Miami or Fort Lauderdale from the station in West Palm Beach.
