Neighborhoods

Located just east of downtown Atlanta, Old Fourth Ward is a dichotomy of trendy developments and, as the site of Martin Luther King Jr.’s childhood home, meaningful history. Creative energy reverberates through the neighborhood as you stroll down the BeltLine’s Eastside Trail, the artery that stretches from Piedmont Park to Reynoldstown. It’s not unusual to see a muralist at work and, if you look carefully, you might spot a Tiny Door. The creativity spills over into the neighborhood’s restaurants, many considered the hottest in Atlanta, with sleek design and innovative menus. There are also hidden green spaces to explore and hip boutiques. Come hungry and wear comfortable shoes, as the neighborhood is best explored on foot.

KSM was designed to be as authentic as the 1920’s warehouse it occupies. With market stalls to sell produce, goods, and prepared food, along with a few southern-grown restaurants and retailers, the market offers Atlantans a gathering place for taking in an extraordinary meal or picking up a few inspiring ingredients - a west-coast-style market, right in the heart of Inman Park. - in walking distance 5 - 6 minutes

A converted historic Sears building, it is now now a market with a food hall, shops & living space. Great for shopping, eating and people watching. It even has a rooftop amusement park. Larger retail stores include Anthropologie, Citizen Supply, J. Crew, Williams Sonoma, and West Elm.[4] Ponce City Market states that its food hall is similar to the famous Chelsea Market, New York City, also owned by Jamestown. James Beard-awarded chefs with presence in the food hall include Anne Quatrano of Bacchanalia/Star Provisions, Linton Hopkins of Restaurant Eugene, and Sean Brock of Charleston, S.C.'s Husk restaurant.[5]
