Day Trips
1.5–2 hour drive. Beautiful beaches, gorgeous Spanish architecture and lots of restaurants and
bars. I recommend visiting the locals beach “Hendry’s Beach” and having lunch at the beachside cafe “The
Boathouse”. Note: It gets busy at the weekend. The Harbour is a working harbour and has lots of places to eat.
Treat yourself to a drink at the Biltmore Hotel and enjoy a walk on Butterfly beach. The mission is also worth a
visit while in town and if you have time go to the top of the Courthouse building for the best views of the city.
You can rent bikes on State State and cycle along the bike path to Montecito or up to the Harbour.
