What Missoula Offers
There's so much to say about Missoula and I'd like to refer you to Missoula Montana magazine. I have made the Missoula magazine, along with other guides, available to our Bungalow guests. The writers of this magazine articulate the unique "nature meets culture" features better than I ever could. I will say that we've come to love it for its easy-going outdoorsy life with all the creature comforts of a hip University metropolitan city. If you're a foody, you're going to find many eateries that will delight your tastebuds! If you like to bike, you're going to love the dedicated bike trails that run along the river and through the city, if you love music, you will find an awesome music scene!

Neighborhoods
This 1940’s bungalow is centrally situated in Missoula’s historical and desirable University District. Old, giant trees and a mix of giant homes and small bungalows offer a storybook setting. Students, professors and long-time residents make this neighborhood a melting pot.
This neighborhood is known for being quiet, safe, and family friendly. Right around the corner is the fun filled Bonner Park with tennis and basketball courts, a playground and plenty of grassy space. Just blocks away is the University of Montana and Mount Sentinel’s hiking trailhead. Heading in the other direction guests will find the popular hip-strip and river trail and just across the bridge is downtown Missoula with its plethora or restaurants, bars, breweries, coffee houses, music venues, playhouses, boutiques, open air markets, festivals and more.
University District

First off - amazing food!!! Yummy breakfasts, lunches and coffee beverages. Locally sourced and vegan options. Secondly, they have been so creative and smart with how they've handled Covid protocols and safety. Mostly, in ways that have enhanced the dining experience overall.

My absolute favorite deli ever! Out of this world Italian deli sandwiches, beverages and wine. Everything you need to grab for a scrumptious picnic! Also, within walking distance.

Nice atmosphere and really tasty food! On many occasions they have live music! They also have outdoor dome pods in the winter and lovely patio dining in the summers.

This is one of our favorite upscale gourmet Mexican food places downtown. The food is really uniquely delicious, and the margaritas and other bar drinks are fantastic too! Nice ambiance and really fun but can get really busy and loud.

Upscale Mediterranean dishes made with local ingredients. Near river, nice ambiance. Happens to be the first restaurant my partner and I ever sampled here in Missoula and holds fond memories for us still.
