The crystal clear waters contrast elegantly against the clear white sand creating picturesque views and amazing sunsets every day. The beach is accessible via just one public access so it tends to be less busy than some of the other beaches.

It is commonly staffed with lifeguards. Siesta Beach is located 1.4 miles away from our villa so we recommend you take the trolley or walk to this beach as parking fills up quickly on holidays and the weekends. Don't miss the famous Drum Circle (free) every Sunday evening at sunset.

However, this beach does not feature the powder-like sand found in other areas of the Key. This is a popular shelling spot as plenty of shells wash ashore. Paddleboards and kayaks can be rented nearby. It is also a great spot for nature lovers to catch a chance to see some of the region’s wildlife up close. Look for manatees, dolphins, shorebirds, and turtles.

The museum's art collection contains over 10,000 objects including a variety of paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, and decorative arts from ancient through contemporary periods and from around the world.
