Many people's favorite thing to do in the park is to go to Cade’s Cove before opening on Wednesdays or Saturdays. You can ride bikes along the path before cars are allowed in. If you choose car, you can also get out and hike at certain spots. You'll see historic cabins, churchs, animals and great views. Bikes are definitely the best way to see Cade’s Cove. Bike rental is just up the street. Pack a lunch! PRO TIP: make sure you plan for this trip especially during busier seasons. Early in the day is a must. Cars start packing it in as the day goes.
