Don't let the name throw you off. This is not the court house. It is a Hong Kong style Cafe in Calgarys Chinatown. The menu is partially in English, but has lots of photos. I highly suggest going for breakfast and getting the breakfast soup. Noodles, veg, broth, protein and friend eggs with a side of toast and a hot drink for about $12. It's my go to at least once a week.

Unfortunately, the photos here don't do the venue or food the justice it deserves. It's a beautifulplace for a romantic dinner in Calgary. You won't go wrong with their locally sourced chefs menu.

Out of 7 visits to this restaurant, we've never had a bad dish. Think tapas with an Italian, French, Spanish flairs. The staff are always willing to guide you in the right direction if you are overwhelmed with where to start.

This little gem is quietly making its way around the foodies. Exceptional food, exceptional pricing and quite an experience. Any of their chicken dishes have proven to be amazing and their staff are very helpful if you need advice.

A lovely woman and her spouse created this cult following-esque shop and they now have three locations in the city. Sweet or savory pies in a small format or large. Their salted honey pie is what dreams are made of.

Calgary has become a foodie scene in the last ten years. As such, some restaurants moved to a walk in basis only. However, this can lead to extensive wait lists to get in. Download the Yelp app and check if the place you want to go to, has a virtual line. You can join from home and head over closer to when they're ready for you.

Look, I get the apprehension. What if I break a hip? What if I fall? What if a car hits me? The fun of utilizing the scooters around town, is worth it. Bird and Neuron are the two providers around the city and both are accessible via apps. Bird, is our favorite due to their riding passes. Tons of scooting for a decent price if you do minimal scoots or if you go longer and use a pass. Pay attention to your surroundings and enjoy the sights of Calgary in a unconventional way.
Ps: we scoot a little, go for food, scoot more, go for drinks, scoot more, go for dessert & eventually find our way home
