This farmshop is about a 12 minute drive on the northern edge of town. It has lots of local food, a few gifts, a good cafe, falconry centre and loos. A good place to stop on your way home.

This is about 40 minutes north of us. If you happen to be here when the racing is on, it's well worth a visit. Take a picnic and enjoy the atmosphere. A fab summers day out!

this little nursery has a lovely feel to it. The plants are much better value than the larger chains. it has a coffee shop and a pub over the road. Why not visit Shawbury Garden Centre on the way home!

A very local restaurant with easy parking. spacious inside with clean lines and uncluttered feel. more modern than my other recommendations. I've been once, the food was very good and hearty. perfect for prams as heaps of space. Also looks like it caters for lots therefore unlikely to be fully booked.
