Food scene

Maxfield’s is a local institution on Dolores street. A great cup of coffee and some good sandwiches and snacks. It’s also a great place to get a quick breakfast sandwich.

Best ramen in the neighborhood. I love the Kakuni Tonkotsu but most all is good. A bit salty for some.

Be sure to visit the original Mission de San Francisco Asisi, the oldest building in San Francisco and one of the original Missions built by the Spanish as the settled California. Be sure to tour the garden and it’s the plaque on the wall outside that tells of the Camino Real, the original name for Dolores Street, that connected the various missions up and down the California Coast.
