Summary When a little birdie tells you that there is group of exotic birds in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, you're not hearing a fib. At the Flamingo's outdoor Wildlife Habitat, you can get up close and personal with pink flamingos, exotic ducks, koi fish and so much more.  The Wildlife Habitat may only be a few steps from the hustle-and-bustle of the resort, but you'll feel miles away. With the abundance of trees, grasslands, waterfalls, streams and brooks, you'll feel like you're in paradise. Hours of operation: Everyday 8am to 8pm Location: Wildlife Habitat at the flamingo casino. Again,It's free!!!!!!! yay

The Fremont Street Experience is Las Vegas’ second most famous street scene, following the Las Vegas Strip. Fremont Street was named after explorer John Charles Fremont, and the street itself dates to 1905 when the city of Las Vegas was founded. In 1925, Fremont Street became the first paved street in Las Vegas, and the street had a busy gambling scene long before gambling was legal. Just a few years later in 1931, the Northern Club, a Fremont Street gambling hall, received one of Nevada’s first of six gambling licenses in the state and became the first legal casino on Fremont Street. Before the development of the Las Vegas Strip, Fremont Street was your iconic Vegas scene. Almost any and every television show or movie that featured a Las Vegas nightlife scene included shots of Fremont Street’s neon signs and grand casino entrances, and the newfound fame helped Fremont Street earn the nickname “Glitter Gulch.” Many famous, or once-famous casinos, are located on Fremont Street, including the Four Queens Hotel and Casino, Golden Gate Hotel and Casino, Golden Nugget, and The Fremont Hotel and Casino. Today, visitors looking for things to do can check out Vegas Vic, a neon sign that was originally commissioned as a cartoon character by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce in 1947. Vic, the Vegas cowboy, has been standing on Fremont Street since 1951. Vic is one of many neon icons that have been maintained, resurrected, restored, or otherwise been given the opportunity to glow another day throughout the district, thanks to the efforts of the Neon Museum and its partners.

This is no ordinary pawnshop: It’s the home of the History Channel’s reality-television show Pawn Stars. That means that any ordinary visit can turn into an opportunity to be on camera—or at least an opportunity to see Chumley, Rick Harrison, and some of the other regular characters who have become pseudo-celebrities over the years. The place has become so popular that lines to gain entrance usually wind around the block. Once you do get inside, you’ll notice the full complement of antiques and mementos for sale, as well as a large gift shop with Pawn Stars–branded merchandise. While the store itself welcomes customers from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Pawn Window is open 24 hours a day. Stadium Swim is all about making an entrance. The anticipation builds as you ascend the tallest escalator in Las Vegas. From bottom to top, the ride gives you a final 81 seconds to prepare. The 337 chaise lounges, 38 daybeds, 30 cabanas and super cabanas, eight poolside boxes and two swim-up bars add to Stadium Swim’s capacity of 4,000 guests. Designed for year-round use, the water temperature ranges from 78 to 94 degrees, with a couple of the pools capable of hitting 104 degrees during the worst of a Las Vegas winter. Then — BAM! — the lights hit you. First the sun, unimpeded by any nearby shade-producing structures, then the mammoth 143-foot by 40-foot LED screen, designed to show several games at once, sports book-style, and bright enough to do so in the middle of the day. Once your eyes adjust, you can take in the entirety of the tiered complex. Six pools and two spas make up the 15,000 square feet of wet space. When hunger strikes, there’s a selection of food from American Coney Island owners Chris Sotiropoulos and Grace Keros and Zingerman’s Deli co-founder Paul Saginaw.
