If you like high quality fish and chips, it doesn't get any fresher than what comes from Mooloolaba Fish Market. You can choose your piece of fish and how you like it cooked, or buy some raw and bring it back if you feel like cooking. 20 min drive, worth the trip.

The local beach is one of the best on the coast. We can say that as we've only been here since the end of 2020 so are not biased to any particular beach, but it's patrolled, has good surf, great swimming and boogyboarding (as long as you like waves). Best part is you can walk out the door and be on the sand in 4 minutes, hard to get more convenient than that!
