By boat you can visit Four Seasons Hydra hotel (Plakes beach). It is an organised beach with a beautiful tavern by the sea that you can spend the day. It is a nice option to walk to the beach and enjoy the countryside (45min walk).

Vlychos Plakes Beach

Bisti and Agios Nikolaos beaches are at the western edge of the island and you can spend the day under an umbrella. There is just a small cantina with snacks. It's better idea to visit the bakery before you leave for the beach.

Bisti Beach
Eparchiaki Odos Mandrakiou-MolouBisti and Agios Nikolaos beaches are at the western edge of the island and you can spend the day under an umbrella. There is just a small cantina with snacks. It's better idea to visit the bakery before you leave for the beach.
Sightseeing
Prophet Ilias monastery and mount Eros summit is a must see during your trip. It is about an hour from the port. You can visit the monastery and maybe meet a monk who can show you around. There is also a small shop with organic soaps and small things made by them you can buy. From there you can head to the top of mount Eros that is an extra half an hour. The view of the surroundings is just breathtaking!

Mount Eros is the highest on the island (588m) with breathtaking views to the surrounding sea and islands. It is 1,5 hour from the port. Make sure to hike early in the morning during summer to avoid the heat, wear proper shoes and have extra water with you. It is also 1/2 an hour from Prophet Elias monastery
