Some days you can see 6,000 North American hawks, falcons, ospreys, and kestrels making their flight to warmer climates from the Blue Ridge Escarpment 3000’ overlook. It’s awesome to watch these birds ride the thermals. Migration is from Sept 1 to Dec 1 each year.
