Playa Hermosa is just around the corner from Jaco. This beach is considered one of the best for surfing and as you go south the beach gets prety deserted, perfect if you want some solitary beach time!

Best to spend 2 days and 1 night if you go since its a pretty long and winding drive from Jaco. But the hot springs are out of this world!

Only about a 25 minute drive from Jaco. Very few tourists/people and a very nice trail system ( mostly paved and very maintained). Monkeys easy to see. Go early if you can while its still cool :)

This is the closest place to Casa Ginger where you can buy some staple food items like drinks, pasta, really basic groceries. The prices are great but selection is limited :)
