Very reasonable and the best Chinese food around. About a 15 minute walk down Broadway toward Kendall Square. Always busy, but you can get delivery too.

This is steps away, literally if you look out the apartment door across the parking, you will see the brick wall of this cafe. So close, well, how can you say no.

A brew pub, try the "tasting" flight of beers. VERY popular and great beer. Not food, so eat before or after. And if you arrive in the morning or before 2, it is a cafe!

Music and bar food. And dancing too. One of my favorite times to go is Sunday afternoons at 4:30 to hear Natural Wonders, 3 Sundays a month. Other times are good too.

Ok, it IS a bar, but I usually dance there too. Very small and cozy, but hey, sometimes ya gotta dance. Across the road is a favorite bookstore/cafe Porter Square books.
