This is both a local favorite and a great place for first time visitors. They take reservations and if Keeneland is running or there is a UK game you will need them. Serving amazing steaks and sushi- something for everyone. Be sure to try the Lexingtonian salad and their herb butter on the bread. This is priced mid to upper scale

I had to include this as it is highly recommended locally. They are known for their fried chicken but always generally rated as one of Lexington's best. In my humble opinion this place is over-hyped. Go across the street to Malones in Lansdown

Ten minutes from the property, less if you take the backroads through the neighborhood (use GPS). Movie theater that serves meals and alcohol. Their food is not a standout but this is the newest theater around Lexington and the only place we go to watch movies
