Just 10minutes from the house walking on Southgate Road, you will see cafes, shops and restaurants on your left hand. Great places to eat or have a coffee and why not some local shopping. Great mention to De Beauvoir Deli, French posh deli that has everything you need. If you turn right on Northchurch road, you will be walking in one of the richest roads in Islington. At the end is the beautiful historic St' Peter's church and De Beauvoir park.

If you are walking and want to sit somewhere quiet, try this path. It only takes you 10min to walk it and it's great for cheeky tea breaks from the busy Islington.

Food scene

If you like your coffee and pastry, this is one of the most popular places to go. There is always a long queue on weekends and it closes early. Not a lot of tables to sit, but great for a take away!
